Johansson was later seen on screen in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who escape. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an incredibly tragic accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca.
