Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in NYC on 22 November 1984) Her range of talents in acting has earned the world awe for her work in dramas from the past to suspenseful films and adventures. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born as a child in New York City. Hunter was twins with their younger sisters. When she reached seven, her interest in acting had increased. Her first audition was for commercials. Soon after she enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan for further training in her craft. As a child she appeared in Sophistry together with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North in 1994. Johansson was later seen on screen in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who escape. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an incredibly tragic accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca.
