Maria Bartiromo, an American journalist on television and the first broadcaster to live on the New York Stock Exchange floor live, is a highly well-known TV host with a number of popular show. Over the course of her twenty-year career as a journalist, Maria Bartiromo played an important role in the establishment of the television channel CNBC as one of the most prominent in economic and business coverage. It's clear that her highly successful career as a journalist was designed for the woman. In her teens, Maria struggled to decide what profession she would pursue. She imagined being a singer one day and an interior designer next. After she learned about the excitement and thrills that journalism offers, there was no stopping her. She's not only a great journalist, she's also a role model for other women who strive to be successful in a men-dominated field. Alongside being a part of "50 Faces of Decade" she was the very first female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. She is also a journalist and columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film, TV and on stage since the latter part of 1970. Since the age of 27, she has worked as an active professional thespian. Her stage debut was in the year 1990 when she appeared on Broadway with an Off-Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her debut TV role within a year. In 1992 she got her breakthrough when she was cast in the film Basic Instinct as a minor character. It was in The Firm however that she was cast as the woman leading the film for just the first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Through the 1990s her career included working alongside top Hollywood actors like Gwyneth in Sliding doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews Relative Values. Most recently, she played in the role of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
